Orkos, west coast of Naxos

The quietest stretch of the island's west side: holiday houses, small guesthouses, no nightlife. The sea is roughly 100 metres away in a straight line, and from there you can walk in either direction to a string of beaches and coves. Mikri Vigla is 800–1,500 metres away with two supermarkets, a bakery, three tavernas, an Italian restaurant, a grill and the kitesurf schools. Buses connect the area with Naxos Town.
